Pokhara tour package offers a view of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks, a visit to the scenic Phewa Lake, pagoda-style temples, and great outdoor activities.
Nepal's adventurous yet romantic valley offers spectacular views and scenes from the moment you arrive in Pokhara. The city is set on a tranquil lake called Fewa that is embraced by two mountain ranges at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a springboard for an exciting adventure, where mountain peaks and terraced fields create one of Nepal's most popular tourist destinations.
Pokhara is also known as the "city of lakes." Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, and Rupa Lake are the major lakes in Pokhara.
Another attraction of Pokhara is Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Barahi Temple, a two-storage pagoda temple in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in western Nepal. It is a Hindu temple of the Goddess Durga, the protector of gods.
It's a precious six-hour scenic drive to the lake city of Pokhara (915m), 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. As you climb out of the Kathmandu valley, only to quickly descend to the Trisuli River, you follow upstream to its junction with the Marsyangdi River. You follow the Marsyangdi gently up through heavily terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti River that takes you directly into Pokhara.
Blessed with pleasant weather, Pokhara is a tourist's paradise with many natural and cultural heritage sites, including serene lakes, caves, and temples of Buddhists and Hindus, along with the grand mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Taal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You also can fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which takes about 25 minutes. This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to romance the beauty of the lake city.

Not amazing, a long, dark cave with limestone deposits and a small temple inside. Mahendra Cave is near Devi's Falls in Pokhara-16, Batulechaur, Kaski district. It is named after Late King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev.
The Bat Cave (Chameru Gufa) is a short walk from Mahendra Cave. Bats cover the dark, damp cave walls and ceiling, making the Bat Cave a great place to see many bats.
The beautiful lake is located around 15 km away from Pokhara, a quiet place, a nice getaway from Pokhara, excellent views, and a boat ride on the lake.
Walking along the lakeshore at sunset is a beautiful way to experience the beauty of this emerald lake and Lakeside on its banks. Go for a boat ride on the lake, with many birds to see, and paddle around the tiny island hosting the Tal Barahi Temple, Pokhara's most famous Hindu temple. You can paddle around the lake in the brightly painted doonas (boats) available for rent at Lakeside or hire the doona with a boatsman.
A lovely waterfall is located about 5 kilometers from Lakeside in Pokhara: it won't keep you busy for long.
